Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 28, 2026

1. Introduction

Zendo Pay (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using Zendo Pay, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your first name, last name, and email address. If you sign up via Google OAuth, we receive basic profile information from Google as permitted by your Google account settings.

Store and Product Data

If you are a merchant, we collect information you provide when setting up your store, including store name, vanity URL, logo, banner image, and product listings (names, descriptions, prices, and images).

Order and Customer Data

We collect information related to transactions on your store, including customer email addresses, order details, coupon usage, and payment status. If your store requires a Roblox ID at checkout, we collect and store that identifier as part of the order.

Usage Data

We use PostHog to collect anonymized analytics about how users interact with the platform. This may include page views, feature usage, and events such as account creation or store setup. This data helps us understand and improve the Service.

Communications and Verification

When you sign up with email and password, we send a verification code to your email address. We may also send transactional emails related to your account, orders, or the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Operate storefronts and process checkouts.
  • Facilitate payouts to merchants via Stripe, PayPal, Paddle, or similar platforms.
  • Send transactional and verification emails.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the platform.
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Paddle) to facilitate transactions and payouts.
  • Analytics providers (e.g., PostHog) to help us understand platform usage.
  • Authentication providers (e.g., Google) when you choose to sign in via OAuth.
  • Law enforcement or regulators where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

Merchants have access to order and customer data for their own stores only. Customers' personal information is not shared across stores.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

Zendo Pay uses browser local storage to store authentication tokens (access and refresh tokens) that keep you logged in. We may also use cookies for session management and analytics. You can clear local storage and cookies via your browser settings, but doing so will log you out.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and store data for as long as your account is active. Order and customer data is retained to support merchant operations and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

8. Children's Privacy

Zendo Pay is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Third-Party Links

The Service may link to third-party websites or services, including merchant storefronts. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Accessing the data we hold about you.
  • Correcting inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Requesting deletion of your data.
  • Objecting to or restricting certain processing.
